There are normally about 4 American players on the team.

The Yetis are a "Hobby Hockey" team.  That means that the Yetis do not play in a regular league. Instead, they play in-house games and games against Hobby Hockey teams elsewhere in Germany.

Player ability ranges from U.S. college level to novice.
Some of our players are teenagers while others are in their mid-50's.  Most of the Yetis are in their 30's.

From September through April, we play Saturday mornings in an indoor rink in Darmstadt.  Each session lasts 90 minutes.

Although we use most of our ice time for in-house games, we do try to work in some instructional drills in each session.

You can join on a monthly basis or just drop in when you can.

Cost per session is between 15 Euro or 40 Euro for the whole month + an annual fee of 30.- Euros.  Games against other teams are free.
Kids under 12 play for free when accompanied by a paying adult player.

In August, the Yetis go to a rink in the Czech Republic for a week of training and playing.  The inclusive price for ice time, (3 hours a day),
lodging and 3 meals per day is about $350.
